This is your first step to locating prospective matches for your nursing leadership roles. You can choose to post your leadership positions, review profiles and request resumes.
How do we provide relevant candidates?
- Refresh Profiles 90-Day Reminders - Candidates create their own profile and every 90 days they receive a prompt reminder to review or update their profile status.
- Profile Approval - When a nursing leader posts a profile a NursingExecutives.com administrator must approve the profile before it is posted. Each nursing leader must be classified as one of the following if the profile is to be approved:
- Nurse Executive- examples:
CEO/CFO/COO/VP/Directors/Administrators/Consultants, etc.
- Middle-Management Nurses - examples:
Assistant Directors/Managers/Supervisors/Office Managers/Team Leaders/Charge Level, etc.
- Administrative Nurses - examples:
Educators, Research Assistants, Case Managers, Assistant Case Managers, Coordinators, etc.
When the profile is approved you will be able to view the following:
- Specialties/Certifications
- Education/Experience
- Leadership Level
- Special Requirements
- Position/Posting Categorization - Each position that you post must qualify as a leadership category based on the above classifications for the nursing leaders. This focused classification provides relevant search criteria attracting nursing leaders to NursingExecutives.com.
- Confidentiality Attracts Nursing Leaders - We do not show a candidate's personal contact information. If nursing leaders feel confident searching for opportunities at NursingExecutives.com, this increases your chances of locating qualified talent.
- Relevant Searching - Each profile is categorized by leadership level to include executive, middle-management and administrative nurses. This provides an easy method for identifying relevant matches quickly.
The functions that you can perform as an employer/recruiter on this web site are as follows:
Search Profiles/View Resumes-
All profiles are approved prior by the administrator for NursingExecutives.com. Now employers/recruiters are ready to search. You can search these profiles based on the following criteria:
- Specialty - Specialties of healthcare have been selected by the areas of expertise. These fields are not cumulative. i.e. if you select 'Assisted Living' and select 'Ambulatory' the search results will be all profiles that have selected 'Assisted Living' and all profiles that have 'Ambulatory' selected.
- Type of Position - This field requires a keyword, and returns results where the keyword entered is a word in the most recent job title.
- Nursing Degree Level - Select the degree level required. Please note that this does not mean the minimum degree results are returned for each specific degree.
- Non-Nursing Degree Level - Select the degree level required. Please note that this does not mean the minimum degree results are returned for each specific degree.
- State - The state the candidate resides in or is willing to relocate to.
- Miles Within a Radius of a Zip Code - Must select the Zip Code and the Radius from the Zip Code. This will return a list of candidates within a radius of a zip code.
Please note the criteria are cumulative. i.e. if you select Nursing Degree (RN/Associates) and State (Massachusetts) the result will be all candidates in Massachusetts with a RN/Associates degree. You will not get all candidates in Massachusetts and all candidates with RN/Associates degrees.
Search results are listed on the subsequent page. You can view each profile by selecting the ID number in the list. The next page will include the profile of the candidate. If you wish to contact a candidate click 'Send Message/ Request Resume'. Please note that messages that you send WILL reveal company/contact information. If you wish to view the resume, click on Download Resume and then either open the resume or save it to your computer-the Download Resume button will only be available if the nursing leader made that option available. If you wish to return to the search results you may click on 'Return to Search Results'.
Send Messages-
If you wish to initiate contact with a candidate you must create an account and purchase one of the access subscription plans. If you already purchased an access service plan then you may initiate contact with a candidate by selecting the 'Send Message/Request Resume' located beneath their profile. If you are not logged in you will be prompted to do so.
You may also reply to messages as a result of an inquiry from a candidate.
*** Please note that all messages that are sent through this system will reveal your identity. Messages that a candidate sends you will arrive in your email box as well as in the NursingExecutives.com messaging system, however their messages will be anonymous, and you will not be able to reply via your mail tool, you must login to www.NursingExecutives.com and respond.
You can create your own messages to candidates prior to clicking on 'Send Message' or 'Send Reply'. You will receive all replies via email and via this messaging. Please make sure you respond to all messages from the web site.
Create an Account -
Creating an account is simple, just click on the 'Create Account' button. On the first screen you will enter your email address (this is also the e-mail address that will be visible to potential candidates if you wish to send them a message through the system) and enter a password that you will remember (if you don't remember it, don't worry, you can have it emailed to you).
The next page will allow you to fill in your company information. Please note the company name and phone numbers are visible to candidates you contact. Fill in the required fields and click 'Save Changes'
Your account is created. If you respond to profiles see the section Send Messages or Check Messages.
Edit Account -
If you wish to change any of your account information you can select the 'Edit Account' button and edit the information.
Subscription Plans-
If you have created an account, you are now ready to select an access service plan. Click on 'Edit Account' and choose from the following subscription plans:
- 1 year of job postings(Total of 10 positions and may be changed at any time) =$499
- 6 month access=$599
- 1 year access= $999
- 1 year of job postings(Total of 10 positions and may be changed at any time) plus 1 year access= $1349
- Sponsorship=$1999-1 year open access to respond to profiles and request resumes plus 1 year of job postings(up to a total of 10 positions and they may be changed at any time during the subscription period) PLUS LINK and LOGO on HOME page for 6 months.
Once you have decided on a plan, click on 'Enter Payment Information'. You will see your current contract status (if any). Next select the plan you prefer and enter the rest of the information on the page. Select the 'Purchase Plan' button. On the subsequent page enter your credit card information and select the 'Finalize Purchase' button. You will now be able to respond to candidates and/or post positions.
Note: Contact us if you choose to pay by any other means than a credit card.
Check Messages -
When a candidate contacts you, a message will be sent to the email address that you have used to identify your account. You can read the messages in your email tool, however if you wish to respond you must do so from the NursingExecutives.com website. Once you have logged in click on 'Check Messages'. This will bring up a list of messages that have been sent to you. Click in the 'Subject' area to read the full text of the message.
Once the message has been read, it is available for deletion if you do not need to reply back to the candidate again. If you choose to delete messages, click on the 'Delete' button when it becomes available.
Posting a Position -
All positions must go through the following process to be listed on the site:
- Create the position
- Submit to NursingExecutives.com for approval
- Approval or rejection from NursingExecutives.com
- If approved it is now posted to the site immediately
Create Position -
Click on 'Post a Position'. A screen will come up with some required fields denoted. Fill in the form to describe the position that you are going to post. Remember the benefit here is to streamline the process for both candidates and employers. Please limit your job description to 25 lines. You may use a different contact name, e-mail address, phone and fax number on the position information.
Submit for Approval -
Once you have added the position you will be directed to a page where you can submit for approval. If you do not want to submit the position for approval, you may do so at a later time by clicking 'View/Edit Job Postings'.
Approval - if your position meets the eligibility criteria of the defined job categories, a Supervisor from NursingExecutives.com will approve your position for posting stating that the position was approved and is now viewable.
Criteria - You must post a position within the executive, middle-management or administrative nurses categories.
Positions are reviewed and approved as soon as possible. Please allow 24 business hours for the approval process.
View/Edit Positions -
Status of positions to be posted - From the 'View/Edit Job Postings' screen, all of the positions you created are available and tracked within the following categories:
- LIST OF APPROVED POSITIONS (visible on the site)
- LIST OF POSITIONS SUBMITTED FOR APPROVAL
- LIST OF NON-APPROVED POSITIONS (not viewable on the web
Editing Job Posting/Position -
You have the opportunity to edit a position at any point in the process. However, once a position is approved and is subsequently edited it will have to go through the approval process again before it is posted. The change function will allow you to make any changes to the position.
Click on 'View/Edit Job Postings'. Each position has links to the functions that you may perform underneath it. Select 'Edit', make and save your changes, then select the 'Review Position and Submit for Approval' area, and then select the 'Submit for Approval' button.
Disable/Enable a Job Posting/Position -
Disabling a position removes it from the list of positions/postings that are available for candidates to search. When you select to disable a position the button toggles to Enable, by selecting 'Enable' you can enable the position to be viewable to candidates again.
Delete Position -
A position can be deleted by selecting 'Delete' below the position area, and then on the subsequent page selecting the 'Delete Position' button again. Deleting a position removes it from the database entirely.
Logging Out -
To end your session at NursingExecutives.com click on the 'Logout' button located in the upper right hand corner of the site.
Please note if your session is idle for 30 minutes you will automatically be logged out.
Returning to The Site -
When you return to NursingExecutives.com you can simply enter your email address and password into the form on the right hand side of the screen and login.
